There was a girl. She was in her first year of high school.
She lived her life just like other teens. Having fun with best friends, don’t
give a damn of the world. One day, she saw this young man. He’s not the best
guy of all time. He’s not as handsome as Leonardo DiCaprio. But just like that,
he made her fall for him. At least, that was what she thought.
She never knew since when she falls for that guy. She never
hoped to be his. She’s happy to see him happy. She wanted to know him. She
tried and tried and tried. She never stopped trying. She asked friends about
him. She asked if he already had a girlfriend. She was happy no body heard he
had a girlfriend. She liked to spy on his fb profile, just like other teens who
are in love. At first, she read his status and she felt nothing. But after a
few statuses, she was worried. Worried that he already has a girlfriend. She wanted
to stop trying, but she keep telling herself that he might feel the same.
She texted him for a few months. He responded it. She kept
hoping and hoping on him, but he had no idea he meant something for her. She wanted
to tell him about her special feeling, but she had no guts to do it. Her best
friends supported her, they wanted to help her too. All she can do was smiling.
She didn’t know what she was going to do.
Actually, her school was going to hold a party. Her friends
had this crazy idea. They proposed her to tell him after the party. At first,
she refused. She didn’t want to ruin her friendship with that guy. But on the
other side, she wanted so bad to tell him the truth. She wanted to know if he
felt the same. After days, she thought about it and she accepted her friends
help.
There she is, in her school party. She put her best dress to
impress him. She wanted this day to be her memorable day. Throughout the party,
her friends and her talked about the plan. There’s still a part of herself
doubted her decision. But she kept telling herself she had to do it. She had to
know what he thought of her. The party came to its end. There he is. Her
friends called him for her. She was going to tell him, but she had no courage.
She ran away. Her friends couldn’t stop her. They told him about her feelings.
The guy said nothing. He stood there. Her friends asked him to catch her. He
said nothing. He ran after her. He called her. She kept running. She was a shame
of herself. He reached her arm. She stopped running. She couldn’t
say a single word. She was trying to look in his eyes, but she can’t. He was
there, standing in front of her. He said nothing. He looked straight to her
eyes. He didn’t know what he was doing, but suddenly those words came out of
his mouth. “I love you”.
